After her (literally) stomach-churning SXSW set, it’s refreshing to see Lady Gaga tackle something a little more vanilla. The headline-grabbing 27-year-old has joined forces with old pal Tony Bennett and the cast of The Muppets for a cheeky little ditty called “We’re Doing A Sequel”.
The Muppets Most Wanted soundtrack cut is a good, old-fashioned show tune finds the cast pitching ideas for their seventh movie. Somewhere in the mix is Gaga and her legendary friend (they have the tiniest of cameos) but, as her ARTPOP opus demonstrates, the “Applause”-loving diva thrives on theatricality.
