Kanye West Placed On 2 Years Probation For LAX Paparazzi Incident
Kanye West was placed on two years informal probation, assigned 250 hours of community service and must attend 24 sessions of anger management stemming from an “attack” on a photographer last year at Los Angeles International Airport. West previously pleaded not guilty, but cut a deal and entered a no contest plea to charges of misdemeanor battery and attempted grand theft (that latter charge was dismissed as part of the deal).
West must also pay for the photographer’s replacement equipment and medical bills which is just hilarious because, I cannot stress this enough, the pap (who has a history of goading celebs) was laughing during the run-in, which amounted to a glorified bear hug from West.
The paparazzi laws in this country are beyond fucked.
