Saturday Night Live has just unloaded a trio of big announcements regarding its next three episodes, and in the process continues with its tradition of alternating between pop stars of the biggest caliber and more under-the-radar acts.

For  the Louis CK-hosted episode on March 29, rising British singer Sam Smith has been tapped as the musical guest. The following weekend, Pharrell will make his SNL solo debut (he performed as part of N*E*R*D in 2004) on the April 5 ep hosted by Anna Kendrick (who, in all likelihood, will belt out a song or two herself). Then on April 12, Seth Rogen returns as host and Ed Sheeran will perform, presumably to unveil some new material off his long-in-the-works sophomore album.

Check out the tweets with the announcements below, then start brainstorming about which surprise guest Skateboard P will inevitably bring along.
