James Franco & Seth Rogen Spoof Kanye West & Kim Kardashian’s ‘Vogue’ Cover

Actors James Franco and Seth Rogen reprise their roles as “Kanye West” and “Kim Kardashian” in a spoof of the couple’s new Vogue cover. The two offer different explanations: Franco wanted to make a public declaration for his love, obviously, while Rogen simply says, “It had to be done.”

Of course, the spoof arrives just as West applauds the actual April issue cover (and actress Sarah Michelle Gellar entertains canceling her subscription, sure). A behind-the-scenes look was set to West’s “Bound 2,” while the Annie Leibovitz shoot itself appeared inspired by the video’s aesthetic (“I wanted to take white trash t-shirts and turn it into a video,” West has said).

And as Franco and Rogen could attest, it was likely tough for Leibovitz to resist riffing off “Bound 2.” Late last year, they released a shot-for-shot parody of the same video, titled “Bound 3.” Franco steered the motorcycle into the sunset as West did, while a shirtless Rogen leaned back and, erm, relaxed like Kardashian. See the Vogue spoof in full after the jump.
