The 27-year-old’s sophomore set is now streaming in full ahead of its official April 1 release date and the opus delivers the insightful lyrics, rich melodies and raw vocals we’ve come to expect from the singer-songwriter.
Lead single “Human” sets the tone for the album. The emphasis is squarely on matters of the heart (love, relationships and break-ups) but she touches on bigger issues too. Like self-acceptance and finding your own path in life. Don’t worry. It’s not all heavy. “Burning Gold” is as upbeat a pop anthem as Christina has recorded and Ed Sheeran duet “Be My Forever” is a romantic delight. Stream the album in full after the jump.
