Lana Del Rey Scheduled To Play Glastonbury In June (Unless She Isn’t)

If Lana Del Rey‘s candid remarks to a fan are to be believed, her new LP Ultraviolence will see a May 1 release. Regardless of the Dan Auerbach-produced LP‘s actual street date, though, we can expect to hear new music soon, since she’s heading on a North American tour starting in April and booked a headlining set at the Sweetlife Festival on May 10. And now it looks like she’s slated for the UK’s famed Glastonbury Festival.

NME did a bit of Web sleuthing and noticed a roster of LDR European dates on the site for Primary Talent, her booking agency, and the list included a June 28 appearance at Glastonbury. However, as you can see in the screengrab below, the Glastonbury gig has disappeared from the lineup, while her dates at other festivals across Europe from June through August are still up.

Also worth noting? Auerbach’s band The Black Keys are confirmed for Glastonbury, and while it may be a coincidence, it also presents the very real prospect that the two acts will collaborate on stage there.

We’ve reached out to Lana’s camp regarding the MIA listing.
