Sage The Gemini & Iamsu! Killed It On ‘Letterman’: Watch Them Rework “Gas Pedal”
So, uh, Sage The Gemini and Iamsu! just turned out one of the best late night performances of the year, and I don’t think anyone even noticed. Let’s remedy that! The hyphy HBK Gang rappers were on Letterman performing their hit collab “Gas Pedal” off Sage’s debut album, Remember Me, which dropped this week. They brought a killer live band and a bevy of MIDI samples with them, so guitar licks, cymbal crashes and soul interludes warped and sliced the song’s ratchet groove.
And to button it all up, things finished with a sweet guitar solo as Sage and Iamsu! did a semi-choreographed dance. This is how you do late night.
