2 Chainz Charged With Felony Drug Possession
Obligatory “Feds Watching” joke goes here. 2 Chainz has been formally charged with felony drug possession and will be arraigned next week, according to TMZ. The charges stem from his June 2013 arrest at LAX when TSA agents found him in possession of codeine. If convicted, the rapper could face three years in prison.
After 2013, 2 Chainz may want to update his tactics for transporting his favorite vices while he’s on tour. A couple months before the codeine arrest, in February 2013, he was arrested for marijuana possession. But that episode ended on a much less serious note, with him taking a photo with the cops. Then in August, everyone on his tour bus (himself included) was briefly arrested, but no drugs were found.
