For a campaign as generally flaw-free as Beyonce‘s stunning visual album, the lack of truly amazing remixes (there are a couple of good ones) has been a constant source of irritation. That lingering issue has now been resolved by a pair of glorious Monsieur Adi remixes, which were commissioned for Bey’s eye-popping Out magazine cover story.
The French producer served as the official DJ of the European leg of The Mrs. Carter Show world tour, so he’s more familiar with the diva’s new LP than most. That connection to the source material is reflected by his dreamy Parisian disco mix of “XO” and sassy, synth-drenched girls-night-out overhaul of “Blow”.
