David Guetta Delivers Another Killer (Literally) Lyric Video For “Bad”: Watch The Gory Animated Opus

David Guetta‘s visual style has changed almost as radically as his sound since Nothing But The Beat. This era, the French producer is going for a grittier electro-house sound with hard(-er) hitting beats and that has been reflected in his awesome animated lyric videos. “Shot Me Down” was a pink-hued love story among outlaws, while “Bad” gets a murky green zombie treatment. And it’s awesome.

A collaboration with Dutch duo Showtek and Australian dance diva Vassy, “Bad” is an unusually aggressive floorfiller. Which could explain why the highly stylized animated violence in the lyric video works so well. When our zombie heroine isn’t hunting for food, she’s finding the man/corpse of her dreams and escaping the military. Oh and there’s an amusing dance scene that pays homage to Michael Jackson‘s iconic “Thriller” video. Watch up top.

Why are Mr. Guetta’s lyric videos better than most actual clips? Have your say in the comments below.
