LIZ Channels ‘TRL’ Golden Age For “All Them Boys” Video
California R&B revivalist LIZ has premiered the video for “All Them Boys,” off her recently released Just Like You EP. The Mad Decent singer is pretty overt about her love of all things ’90s (even going by the handle LIZ Y2K), so this house-flavored ode to simpin’ got a suitably ’90s-repping visual, with LIZ and her dancers rocking oversized jerseys and backwards hats.
In fact, she even told Noisey she wanted the vid to be “reminiscent of those videos that you would see on TRL. Like for Aaliyah, Missy Elliott, even some Britney videos, the storyline is often extremely secondary to the performance aspect of it.” See how she nailed the vibe up top.
