Kelis’ ‘Food’: Stream The Full Album And See Her Upcoming North American Tour Dates

For her sixth album Food, “Jerk Ribs” singer/culinary school grad Kelis turned to Dave Sitek for guidance on the production end. And like CSS did with their 2013 LP Planta, Kelis spent time recording the record at Sitek’s house in Los Angeles. The result is a trek through indie-soul territory, which we’ve already gotten a, um, taste for with previously released tracks like “Rumble.”

Now you can whet your appetite by hearing Food in full ahead of its release next week (on April 22), courtesy of a stream on NPR‘s site, as well as see the dates below for Kelis’ just-announced seven-date North American tour in support of the album. Bon appétit!
