7 Questions With Kodaline: Breakthrough Hit “All I Want”, Touring America & Irish Bands

From U2 to The Cranberries, Ireland has a long history of producing great bands. The latest act to add to that impressive list is Dublin-based quartet Kodaline. They broke big in Europe last year with critically acclaimed debut LP In A Perfect World and landed a string of radio hits with emotional rock anthems like “High Hopes” and “Love Like This”.

The band was recently stateside to promote new single “All I Want” and dropped by the Idolator studio for a quick chat between gigs. The guys opened up about their wackiest tour experiences, talked about those flattering comparisons to Coldplay and waxed lyrical about the state of American beer. (In short, they think our Guinness stinks). Watch up top.

Do you love Kodaline? Agree with their beer assessment? Want to walk down the aisle to one of their love songs? Let us know the answer to one or more of these questions in the comments below.
