Lana Del Rey’s “West Coast” Headed For Impressive Chart Debut

Lana Del Rey‘s breezy new single “West Coast” is headed for a strong debut on Billboard’s Hot 100 next week. The atmospheric Dan Auerbach-produced anthem should land in the top 50 (it could go higher) on the back of 110,000 to 120,000 first-week download sales. It will become the Ultraviolence diva’s fourth entry on the countdown.

This is a promising debut for several reasons. Lana’s hasn’t promoted the song outside of her rambling Coachella set, radio airplay is currently minimal and there’s no video to prop up streaming numbers. When/if those factors change, the 27-year-old could have another “Summertime Sadness”-sized hit on her hands. If nothing else, it proves that the faithful is hungry for new material.

Will “West Coast” become one of Lana Del Rey’s biggest hit? Leave your chart prediction in the comments below.
