Watch Coldplay Bring “Magic” To French TV

The Coldplay full-court press is upon us. With a handful of tour dates kicking off and a primetime TV special airing on the eve of Ghost Stories‘ May 19 release, plus a recent appearance on BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge, the Brits are back to being the biggest band in the world. Their latest stop came on France’s Le Grand Journal last night (April 24), where they performed the LP’s lead single “Magic.”

When Rick Ross recently performed for the French show, the audience hilariously clapped along to “B.M.F.” so you knew the crowd would put their hands together even for this somber song. (Cultural differences, aren’t they crazy??) Despite the off-beat clapping from the crowd, Chris Martin and co. delivered a lovely rendition of the ethereal ballad. Check it out up top.
