Is Kanye West Working On A 3-Hour Spoken Word Album? (Probably Not)

Let’s start this off by saying the source of the story is The Sun, which is essentially the same as saying you got the story in a message from the actual sun. But since it’s a scrap of speculation about new Kanye West material, we feel compelled to present it to you. There is a rumor going around that West is working on a three-hour spoken word album to be released on vinyl. Supposedly it will “feature everything from his views on the environment to life with fiancee Kim Kardashian and their 10-month-old daughter North.” This seems like a very Kanye West thing to do.

“[West] has very strong views on everything from music and art to politics and the environment. He’s forever recording his opinions on tape,” this source claims. “Kanye loves the sound of his own voice and this will be the ultimate in self-indulgence.” Sounds like this a very well-placed source privy to extremely sensitive information!

Oh and as a deluxe edition or whatever, Ye will allegedly release a full 24 hours of his speeches/rants for download.

Again, it seems like such a Kanye thing to do that it almost reads like an Onion story. There is no way this is actually happening, and yet, Ye is so good at keeping everyone guessing that we still can’t entirely rule out the possibility.
