Machineheart Takes A Road Trip In Their Scenic “Circles” Video: Idolator Premiere

machineheart first made waves last year with killer covers of radio-conquering hits like The 1975‘s “Chocolate” and Katy Perry‘s “Unconditionally”. The LA-based five piece has been working on original material with producer Dave Bassett (an LP is due in late 2014) and hit a home run with their first attempt — infectious debut single “Circles”.

Sounding like a cross between Oh Land‘s “White Nights” and The Reminder-era Feist, the band’s sunny synth-pop anthem boasts a plethora of catchy hooks and a serotonin-raising chorus. The colorful video showcases frontwoman Stevie Scott‘s unique style and striking good looks, following her and the boys as they take a road trip into the desert. Watch up top to find out why machineheart belongs on your radar.
