The Janoskians Try Speed Dating In “Real Girls Eat Cake”: Watch The Video

The Janoskians completed the transition from YouTube pranksters to budding pop stars by signing with Republic Records in March. The Australian collective has already released a couple of singles to test the waters (including guilty pleasure “Best Friends”) but “Real Girls Eat Cake” is their first serious effort. And it still manages to include lyrics about stiffies and thigh gaps, so well played.

Written and produced by Orange Factory Music and British pop star Jay Sean, the endearing (because it’s so fucking nuts) single has a quirky ska twist that makes the feel-good message a little easier to swallow. As for the video? Well, the boys go speed-dating and get into a food fight. There’s even a shirtless scene at the end to keep their fans happy. Watch up top.

Is “I get a stiffy from all your awkward dance moves” the most romantic lyric of the year? Have your say in the comments below.
