Echosmith’s Adorable “Come With Me” Video Tells A Love Story In Miniature: Watch
As the break-out stars of last year’s Warped tour, expectations were high for Echosmith‘s debut LP Talking Dreams. And the Los Angeles-based alt-poppers certainly delivered the goods with an eclectic set of shoe-gazing slow jams and hazy guitar-pop tunes. “Come With Me” was an obvious stand-out with its perky new wave twist and the love song now gets a suitably romantic visual.
Filmed using miniature figures (you know, like those farm animals you had as a kid), the video is beautifully conceived and executed. We follow the adventures of a pair of plastic lovers on a cross-country road trip. They drive through through mountains and desert until they reach the ocean. It’s very cute and strangely affecting.
