RuPaul’s “Sissy That Walk” Struts Its Way To iTunes Glory: Watch The Fierce And Fabulous Video
RuPaul talked about the world experiencing a window of tolerance in our recent interview and the success of his latest LP certainly supports that theory. Born Naked became the drag legend’s highest-charting LP ever when it was released in March and now “Sissy That Walk” is shaping up to be an expected hit — prancing into the top 10 of the iTunes dance chart ahead of new singles from EDM heavyweights David Guetta and Tiesto.
The video for the sassy dance anthem premiered on RuPaul’s Drag Race earlier this week and features cameos from contestants. They add some extra flavor but it’s all about Ru and his impeccable runway strut. Without radio support, which is unlikely for a song containing the lyrics “my pussy is on fire now kiss the flame”, it will be difficult to climb much higher but if anyone can do it, it’s the original supermodel of the world.
