Beyonce’s “Pretty Hurts” Is Apparently Being Sent To Radio On June 3

While Beyonce‘s “Partition” continues to rule the urban airwaves, things have been fairly quiet for the “Drunk In Love” diva on pop radio. That should change when power ballad “Pretty Hurts” is added to playlists on June 3. The Sia-penned anthem is the most commercial offering on Bey’s pioneering visual album and should find a lot of love from listeners.

There’s no word yet if the single will actually be promoted via traditional means (TV appearances and performances) but I’d be surprised. The whole concept of Beyonce is to let the music speak for itself and the LP has done that pretty spectacularly thus far. And let’s not forget, Bey kicks off her On The Run tour with Jay Z on June 25, so fans will finally get to hear a live version at shows.

Has Bey left her “Pretty Hurts” radio push a little late? Have your say in the comments below.
