Ariana Grande & Iggy Azalea’s “Problem” Gets Remixed By, Erm, Problem

The jokes write themselves: Ariana Grande just got one more “Problem.”

Compton, Calif., rapper Problem used to write for Snoop Dogg before he slowly emerged as a solo artist last year, with party anthems like “Like Whaaat” and guest verses for artists like Wiz Khalifa and “Problem” featured rapper Iggy Azalea (Ignorant Art‘s “Drop That”). Just as Grande’s “Problem” makes a No. 3 Hot 100 debut thanks to a landmark sales week, Problem himself dropped a remix to the smash hit.

Problem plays the man that Grande and Azalea kiss off in his revamped #YoungCalifornia version. He insists to a woman that she won’t be able to resist his charms, much less leave him behind. But Problem also has the sense to insert his brief sing-song verse at the track’s start. While the remix’s premise is pretty goofy, the rapper also seems to realize that ultimately, “Problem” is a victory for the women featured here.
