Mariah Carey‘s “You Don’t Know What to Do” has made its radio debut. Early on May 19, featured rapper Wale called in to The Russ Parr Morning Show to properly introduce the song to listeners.

When Carey debuted the song on TODAY, the resulting performance was kind of elaborate. She was draped on a baby grand, flanked by doting men and wearing a long, fingerless glove on just one hand. In comparison, “You Don’t Know What to Do” is as much of a no-brainer as “#Beautiful” (hashtag and all) was last year. It’s a breezy and effortless disco throwback with a hook that everyone can sing; Carey sounds less concerned with vocal acrobatics than actually having a good time.
