Robin Thicke’s Plea To Estranged Wife Paula Patton “Get Her Back”: Listen To The Studio Version

Robin Thicke charmed fans by debuting a new song dedicated to estranged wife Paula Patton at last night’s (May 18) Billboard Music Awards in Las Vegas. “Get Her Back” is the musical equivalent of an open letter — laying out the blue-eyed soul singer’s despair and regret over losing his lady. It’s kind of awkward (what if she doesn’t want him back?) but still very sweet.

The 37-year-old’s latest song couldn’t be any further removed from “Blurred Lines”. It’s a retro-flavored soul ballad, which shows remarkable restraint in its simple production and vocal. “I never should have raised my voice or made you feel so small,” Robin admits before crooning: “I gotta treat her right, I gotta cherish her for life.” Listen to the very personal tune after the jump.

Would you take Robin back after being serenaded with this song? Let us know in the comments below.
