Carrie Underwood And Miranda Lambert’s Duet “Somethin’ Bad” Is Anything But: Listen

Country queens Miranda Lambert and Carrie Underwood debuted their mouthwatering duet “Somethin’ Bad” at last night’s (May 18) Billboard Music Awards in Las Vegas. They wowed viewers with their short shorts, big blond hair and furious rock-infused anthem. It was also an instant hit with fans — shooting straight into the iTunes top 10.

Taken from Miranda’s ambitiously-titled Platinum LP, the studio version of the high-profile duet isn’t that different from their live rendition. It’s rougher and rawer than we’re used to from the ladies, which is part of its immense appeal. The country divas channel Queen circa “We Will Rock You”, swapping verses over thumping drums and heavy guitar riffs. Listen after the jump.
