David Guetta Teases New Track “Blast Off” Featuring Australian Vocalist Kaz James: Listen
A snippet of the third taste from David Guetta‘s as-yet-untitled follow up to mega-selling Nothing But The Beat LP arrived today (May 27) and, much like “Bad” and “Shot Me Down”, it’s another fast and furious step away from the melodic, crossover-friendly EDM currently flooding the airwaves courtesy of DJs like Avicii, Tiesto and Afrojack.
Featuring Australian singer Kaz James, “Blast Off” is an explosive — pun intended — chunk of hard house that is custom-made for mainroom mayhem. The aggressive spoken vocal suits the relentless spray of heavy synths and the hook is catchy enough to work on radio in dance-friendly territories.
