Cheryl Cole’s “Crazy Stupid Love”: Watch The Lyric Video

Not content with former X Factor UK judge Nicole Scherzinger‘s “do do do do do” from her new single “Your Love”? Then why not try on former X Factor UK judge Cheryl Cole‘s own lovey-dovey single, “Crazy Stupid Love,” with it’s “la la la la la” refrain? The former Girls Aloud member even throws another trendy gimmick into the song for good measure: a saxophone, which, given Ariana Grande‘s “Problem,” could mean we’re in for another Summer Of Sax only three years after the instrument’s last bout of resurgence in pop.

Cole’s previous solo album, A Million Lights, was released in 2012 and the campaign kicked off with the pretty spectacular Calvin Harris-produced “Call My Name.” Since then, Cole reunited briefly with her Girls Aloud mates for a final hurrah with the ladies — a greatest hits package and a farewell tour — and is now readying her fourth album.

According to PopJustice, Cole’s upcoming LP will feature collaborations with Sia and Greg Kurstin, as well as fellow Girls Aloud alum Nicola Roberts. “Crazy Stupid Love” features a rap by Tinie Tempah, and was co-written by Wayne Wilkins, who also co-wrote and co-produced Cheryl’s rather flaws-free debut solo single, “Fight For This Love.”

Give the lyric video for “Crazy Stupid Love” a watch above, and see if you think it will be Cheryl’s fourth lead single in a row to top the UK chart.
