PSY & Snoop Dogg’s “Hangover” Video To Precede Official Single And Album Release Later This Year

Have you been keeping track of “Gangnam Style” sensation PSY? Because you should be. The YouTube views for his 2012 global mega-smash just crept past 2 billion, and his follow-up hit “Gentleman,” released last spring, isn’t doing too shabbily either (unless, of course, you consider nearly 691,000,000 views subpar).

And just when you thought the Korean superstar was about to slip out of sight for good, here he comes again with a new anthem/video to impress upon the masses: this time in the form of the Snoop Dogg-featuring “Hangover.” Directly following the NBA Finals game on Sunday (June 8), PSY and Snoop are scheduled to appear on a special primetime episode of ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live at 8 p.m. ET, to debut a clip from the song’s music video.

That said, PSY’s label confirmed to us that “Hangover,” which is described as a party anthem with an “intoxicating verse” by Snoop, is just a teaser track ahead of an official single release later this summer and a full album slated for release before the end of the year.

As for that clip on Jimmy Kimmel Live, you won’t have to wait too long for the full “Hangover” video on Sunday night; it’ll be made live on PSY’s YouTube channel directly after the episode. The digital single is scheduled to go up for grabs on iTunes on Monday (June 9).

Do you think PSY is about to throw the heated Song Of The Summer race a major curve ball?
