Ryan Lewis, Of Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Asks Fans About Ryan Lewis: Watch
Macklemore & Ryan Lewis have toured the world off the strength of “Thrift Shop” and “Can’t Hold Us.” Because of those songs, the Seattle hip-hop duo became the first duo, period, to send its first two singles to No. 1 on the Hot 100. But even after its landmark 2013, Macklemore fans won’t recognize Ryan Lewis even if he was holding up a photo of himself, starring at them in the face.
That’s what Late Night host Jimmy Fallon figured, anyway. And he was mostly right! Unlike Live host Jimmy Kimmel with Drake, Fallon sent an undisguised Lewis out and around New York, to asks fans a few questions about actual facts: who is he (it’s a mystery), what he does (also a mystery) and how attractive he is (this, not so much). Macklemore even makes a cameo, though he doesn’t help matters.
