MØ Conquers ‘Kimmel’ With “Don’t Wanna Dance”: Watch Her Wild Performance

has been generating mad hype for the best part of a year with her indie-skewered-but-still-strangely-pop approach to electronica. The Danish diva (Karen Marie Ørsted to family and friends) is currently touring America to promote her excellent debut LP No Mythologies To Follow and dropped by  Jimmy Kimmel Live last night (June 2) to perform two songs.

The first tune in the 25-year-old’s two-song set was current single “Don’t Wanna Dance”. The alt-pop gem is reminiscent of Sky Ferreira‘s Night Time, My Time LP but not as dark. MØ wants to have a good time, which is reflected by her crazy dance moves and energetic stage presence. Watch her in action up top and then check out an equally great performance of “Pilgrim” after the jump.
