50 Cent Announces G-Unit Reunion Album: Watch

50 Cent surprised Hot 97’s Summer Jam crowd when he brought out his crew G-Unit to the stage, since fans thought the rapper-turned-mogul cut ties from it entirely. Turns out, that performance was just the beginning of a productive year. G-Unit (also including Lloyd Banks, Tony Yayo and Young Buck) will release a new album in late November, the crew’s first new music in six years.

50 Cent had stopped by Good Day Philadelphia to tell the news, just one day after he released his comeback album Animal Ambition. Based on how the chat went, the (very) advance notice is probably necessary: 50 was also there to promote his new Starz series, Power. The morning talk show’s hosts were still reeling over his first pitch, which was actually found to be the worst ever. And, thanks in part to Sharon Osbourne (50 explains), they were also still debating over how to say his rap moniker. (He handles that well.)

As a result, the G-Unit album news seemed to barely register. Catch it, if you can, in the Good Day interview after the jump.
