The pop gods are smiling on us today (June 6). A new demo from comeback queen Kesha surfaced online and it’s a sparkling rock-pop gem about her recent mental health woes called “Suicide”. Don’t worry. This isn’t a bleak cry for help but a surprisingly upbeat (and typically wry) ditty that politely asks everyone to mind their own business while she gets her shit together.

“I know I haven’t been my sunny self these days but that don’t mean you have to go and hide the razor blades,” sings the $-less diva over strummed guitars. “Would you please go away? I’m not suicidal, I’m not in denial, I’m really not feeling that bad.” Her brother Lagan Sebert then joins in for the refrain: “I’m just a little sad, I’m just a little sad.” It’s a great tune that reminds you exactly what Kesha is capable of when left to her own creative devices. Listen after the jump.
