Is Madonna Collaborating With Disclosure?
Madonna has sparked rumors with photos she snapped at New York’s Governors Ball, though not of just anyone. While joking that she was doing “security work” for U.K. dance duo Disclosure (“Latch” featuring Sam Smith, “F for You” featuring Mary J. Blige, this terrific remix of Pharrell‘s “Frontin'”), Madonna had fans wondering if they plan to collaborate on new music, too.
Already, Madonna has excited fans with all the possibilities for her next album, the follow-up to 2012’s MDNA. Last month, she worked with Diplo. Prior to that, she rounded up pop songwriters MoZella, Symbolyc One and Toby Gad, who have previously worked with Beyonce and Fergie if not Madonna herself. And before that, she posed with two young (and promising) stars, dark pop songstress Natalia Kills and the eclectic EDM producer Avicii. Given how she’s teamed with names in both dance and pop so far, a collaboration with Disclosure would fit right into the mix.
