Katy Perry And Kacey Musgraves Performed “Roar” Together On ‘CMT Crossroads’
Billboard cover girls/BFFs Katy Perry and Kacey Musgraves perform “Roar” together on an upcoming episode of CMT Crossroads. (The unmissable live extravaganza airs June 13 at 10pm ET/9pm CT). The lovely ladies do a great job of turning the uplifting toe-tapper into a duet — stripping it back just enough to let their voices shine without making the song dreary.
In addition to Prism‘s mega-selling lead single, the well-matched duo also belt out Katy’s Teenage Dream smash “Firework” as well as Kacey’s breakthrough hit “Follow Your Arrow” and moody “Merry Go ‘Round”. Oh and if that isn’t enough to whet your appetite, the hitmakers also join forces to cover a Dolly Parton classic. (Put money on “Jolene”). Watch “Roar” after the jump.
