Birdy’s Moving ‘The Fault In Our Stars’ Ballad “Not About Angels” Gets An Intimate Video: Watch

Birdy contributed three great songs to soundtrack of blockbuster movie The Fault In Our Stars but “Not About Angels” has connected with moviegoers the most. (It’s top 50 on iTunes and climbing). The warm reception could have something to do with the fact that the 18-year-old Brit wrote it from the perspective of the characters in the film. In our recent interview, she revealed that the other songs (“Tee Shirt” and “Best Shot”) were about love in general.

Given that “Not About Angels” is shaping up to be Birdy’s much-deserved breakthrough hit in America, it was only a matter of time before it got a suitably moving video. Like the visual for “Tee Shirt”, the teen keeps it very simple. She just performs the song at a baby grand piano with a dazzling view of the Los Angeles cityscape behind her.
