Who Has 2014’s Song Of The Summer? Vote All Week In Our Poll

We say this every single year, but somehow we blinked and — BAM! — spring came and went. This is the final week of the season, and with June 21 (i.e. the first official day of summer) just around the corner, it’s time to get voting underway for what you, dear pop fanatics, think will be 2014’s official Song Of The Summer.

Over the past week and a half, we rolled out seven strong contenders for the title: Ariana Grande‘s “Problem,” Iggy Azalea‘s “Fancy,” MAGIC!‘s “Rude,” Nico & Vinz‘s “Am I Wrong,” Jason Derulo‘s “Wiggle,” Calvin Harris“Summer” and Ed Sheeran‘s “Sing.” (And, yes — we’re totally side-eyeing Mr. Nico and Mr. Vinz for guffing up what would have been a perfect slate of single-word titles!) With each writeup, we detailed the individual song’s ascent into the mainstream and the reasons we feel any of them might just still be ruling the airwaves well into August.

But now it’s time to let democracy take the wheel and turn all seven picks over to you. There can only ever be one smash hit that’s crowned Song Of The Summer. So head below and get to voting, then check back on the site this Friday to see who Idolator readers deem worthy of winning the official SOS title!
