There’s certainly been no shortage of boy band action lately, with everyone from One Direction to The Vamps to 5 Seconds Of Summer getting in on the fun in the past few months. And today, the talented X Factor UK Season 9 alum Union J have returned.

After sailing into the Top 10 with their self-titled debut in 2013 thanks to catchy cuts like “Carry You” and “Beautiful Life,” the boys are back today with the first single off of their forthcoming sophomore record: “Tonight (We Live Forever),” due out on August 17.

Armed with soaring chants (“Oh-WHOA-oh-oh!“) that would make The Wanted proud and an infectious guitar strum, the massive uptempo anthem is all about seizing the moment and YOLOing the night away — undoubtedly perfect for the summer season. “Tonight we’ll live forever/Do things we won’t remember,” the boys happily promise. It sounds like a surefire feel-good hit for the boys — one that might even translate internationally. “Check out the Snapchat-themed “Tonight (We Live Forever)” lyric video after the jump.

The accompanying lyric video sees the boys happily SnapChatting their way across Hollywood — from hitting the recording studio to dipping their toes in the ocean to eating a Dodger Stadium hot dog. (Yum!)

“It’’s a happy song that lifts our mood whenever we hear it. We’’ve had an absolute blast recording new material,” the boys explained. It’s all good, indeed! And it sure sounds like their follow-up record will be massive (one paper, anyway), featuring collaborations with tons of promising producers and songwriters including Jamie Scott, Jessie Shatkin, Ryan Tedder and Diane Warren.
