Jamie XX Premieres New Track “All Under One Roof Raving”: Listen
UK beatmaker Jamie XX dropped a brand new track called “All Under One Roof Raving” on Annie Mac’s BBC Radio 1 show on Friday (June 19), following the release of new singles “Girl” and “Sleep Sound” earlier this year for his upcoming solo album. Featuring samples from fellow British artist Mark Leckey’s 1999 documentary Fiorucci Made Me Hardcore, the new steel-drum-infused banger was written when Jamie was on tour with The xx last year.
“I wanted to make something I could play out when I got home that reminded people of how good home is.” Jamie explained when talking about the track.
