Calvin Harris Unveils New Club Instrumental “C.U.B.A.”: Listen To The Raging Floorfiller

While “Summer” continues to shine on the Billboard Hot 100, Calvin Harris unveiled something a little less commercial at EDC in Las Vegas over the weekend. “C.U.B.A.” isn’t the soaring pop-friendly club banger with a sing-a-long chorus that we’ve come to expect from the Scottish DJ. Instead, it’s frenzied instrumental custom-made for big-room play.

The 30-year-old turns his tried-and-tested formula upside on “C.U.B.A.”. It’s a bass-heavy monster built around a sinister drumline with huge drops and a euphoric climax. There’s no word yet if the track will feature on Calvin’s new album, “Blame” featuring John Newman is officially slated as the second single, but it should keep clubs jumping over the warm summer months. Listen after the jump.
