Ariana Grande’s Album Might Be Out The Week Of August 25, According To Her Sneaky Tweet

So, we already know that Ariana Grande will follow up her #2 smash “Problem” with Zedd collab “Break Free,” which is out July 2. (How did “Problem” not go to #1 yet? Oh, right — “Fancy.”) But Ari has hinted at yet another big release date in the near future as well. On Twitter earlier this week, the sneaky tweetstress posted the following: “#8DaysUntilBreakFree #61daysuntil…………………. ;)”

And now, with the Internet being the Internet, speculation has kicked into high gear that the second hashtag above (which was posted on June 24) means that Grande’s sophomore album will be out on August 25. Traditionally, however, new albums are released on Tuesdays in the States, so that would put Ariana’s maybe-release-date at August 26 here.

Grande is set to perform on and chat during a one-time revival of MTV’s Total Request Live on July 2, during which she’s also apparently supposed to make a “special announcement.”

In a press release for the upcoming show, Grande said the following: “It’s a huge honor to be able to bring back a show like TRL, I used to love watching it growing up. Can’t wait to celebrate with my loves in Times Square. Might have some surprises too.”

It’s all coming together, gang. And it might just all be out and in your hands before back to school time. Gosh.
