Busta Rhymes & Eminem’s “Calm Down”: Listen To The House Of Pain-Sampling Collaboration

Busta Rhymes and Eminem have unleashed their joint track “Calm Down,” and if you’re easily offended, you might want to sit this one out. The song, which is built on a sample from the opening of House Of Pain‘s ’90s staple “Jump Around,” finds Busta warning, “Bitches, I’m makin’ them skip with thou art, you don’t really wanna start when I growl!”

Eminem comes in halfway through and rants about Clive Davis coming out as bi in his memoir, then later makes reference to the music mogul driving “straight to the Gay Pride parade.” Oh, and of course he tosses in an f-bomb (not “fuck” — the other one) later in the song: “You ain’t the real Slim Shady / sit your ass down, faggot!”

Equally as charming is this line from Em: “Hey, Mrs. Lincoln, other than your husband’s brains that were leakin’, how’d you think that play was this weekend?”

“Calm Down” will appear on Busta Rhymes’ upcoming LP E.L.E. 2.
