Miley Cyrus, The Flaming Lips & Moby Star In WTF-Tastic, LSD-Inspired Short Film “Blonde SuperFreak Steals The Magic Brain”: Watch

Look: When we heard that Miley Cyrus, The Flaming Lips and Moby all teamed up to star in a short film called “Blonde SuperFreak Steals the Magic Brain,” it’s not like we didn’t expect the end result to be one massive mind-f**k of LSD-inspired nonsense, bright colors, random acts of nudity and trippy-as-hell visuals. And yet, the video is somehow still even weirder than we imagined.

Filmed whilst the Bangerz princess was recovering from her reaction to antibiotics earlier this year, the newly premiered clip loosely follows a, um, narrative based around a naked blonde glittery lady stealing poor Miley’s brain for the evil Dr. Moby. “He wants the world’s most valuable (according to our story) psychedelic supernatural possession… John F. Kennedy’s brain….the brain contains the original formula for the drug LSD!!!” the troupe explains. (Read the full description of the video over at Rolling Stone — we really can’t even.)

There’s some lava lamp realness. Rainbows. Beetles. Weed. Acid. Santa’s in there somewhere, I think. It’s hard to say what’s going on really, or why it’s happening at all. All that being said, shout out to Miley for that excellent delivery of the soon-to-be Academy Award-winning line: “WHERE’S MY F–KING BRAIN?!”
