Ariana Grande Teases “Best Mistake” Featuring Big Sean: Listen
Ariana Grande has teased yet another song off her forthcoming sophomore album, My Everything. Shortly after she revealed her Star Wars-inspired lyric video for Zedd collaboration “Break Free,” Grande posted to Instagram a snippet of “Best Mistake,” featuring Big Sean. “Break up / wake up / total / waste of / time,” she sings in a clip posted to Instagram, as if sighing through her hiccuping rhythm.
“Best Mistake” isn’t the first time that Grande’s teamed with Big Sean, who she counts as one of her best friends. 2013’s “Right There” made for one of her debut Yours Truly‘s biggest surprises, whether you’re a fan of Big Sean or otherwise. (He tends to sound most like rap’s annoying younger sibling, though pop settings can actually brings out his voice’s boyish charms.) He’s also the (uncredited) voice behind the Ying Yang Twins-inspired hook of My Everything lead single “Problem.”
