MNEK’s “Wrote A Song About You” Video: Watch The Ultra-Retro Clip
It’s safe to say British 19-year-old soulster MNEK has been doing quite well for himself as of late, appearing on Gorgon City’s smash hit “Ready For Your Love” as well as working with the likes of electronic troupe Clean Bandit and Aussie pop starlet Kylie Minogue. What’s more, the producer prodigy is gearing up for his own album debut, releasing infectious tracks like “Every Little Word,” as well as his recent meta 90’s House-laden hit “Wrote A Song About You,” to show people what’s in store.
Now, “Wrote A Song About You” just got itself a fun, retro music video full of neon lights, ‘90s graphics and MNEK himself grooving to the beat. The clip is a bit reminiscent of the opening credits to hit sitcom Saved By The Bell —I mean that in only the best way possible! — or a really hazy, smoke-filled club on a ’90’s night.
