Last week Toronto reggae-pop-rockers MAGIC! booted Iggy Azalea off the top of the Hot 100, which made for the perfect time for us to post their live, stripped-down rendition of their current #1 single “Rude.” Today we follow that up with the Nasri Atweh-fronted band’s very first acoustic performance of “No Evil,” a cut off MAGIC!’s debut LP Don’t Kill The Magic that they offered up during the same Idolator Sessions performance.

“I was sitting in a coffee shop…and I was thinking about my Speak No Evil, Hear No Evil, See No Evil monkeys that I have,” Nasri explains before the band launch into the song. “I started writing from my head, and I called the guys and I had it all structured.”

The singer/songwriter/producer goes on to note that this is the first time the band have done “No Evil” acoustically, and without rehearsal.

Give MAGIC!’s performance a watch above, and, if you missed it, check out their unplugged version of “Rude” from Idolator Sessions here.
