Alesso And Ryan Tedder Team Up On Club Floorfiller, “Scars”: Listen

If one thing is clear about Swedish DJ Alessandro Lindblad— otherwise known as Alesso— and OneRepublic’s Ryan Tedder, it’s that they are truly two peas in a pod.

Back in 2012, the two released club hit “The Calling (Lose My Mind)”  with Swedish House Mafia’s Sebastian Ingrosso, which was then followed by Alesso’s mesmerizing rework of OneRepublic’s smash single “If I Lose Myself.” Now, the dynamic duo are back in action with a new club cut, “Scars.”  With its anthemic melody and massive drop, this tune is bound to be not only on everyone’s latest summer gym playlist, but probably on every DJ’s latest club mix as well.

Alesso, who was recently signed to Def Jam Records, also premiered his latest banger “Tear The Roof Up” on BBC Radio 1 with Zane Lowe on July 15. Hopefully, this means a brand new record from the 23-year-old beatsmith is coming soon. While we wait, however, jam out to “Scars” just below.
