Tinashe Threw Serious Shade At Rihanna (Five Years Ago) And The Navy Isn’t Very Happy About It
Tinashe is one of the hottest new divas in R&B thanks to breakthrough hit “2 On” but she better watch her back after The Navy uncovered a bunch of shady tweets about Rihanna — from five years ago. “I’m not much of a Rihanna fan.. and I definitely don’t particularly like the song, but the ‘Russian Roulette’ video is dope!” she shared with followers in 2009.
Pretty innocuous, right? Well, the 21-year-old went a bit harder by retweeting: “#uknowitsarecession when Rihanna finally talks about ‘that night’ near a damn year later to help her albums sales.” I don’t see any lies but The Navy was not impressed and immediately started dragging. Given RiRi’s habit of demolishing opponents in Twitter beefs, Tinashe should consider sprinkling some holy water on her timeline or apologizing in advance.
