Seattle indie rockers Fences team up with hip-hop super duo Macklemore & Ryan Lewis on brand new track “Arrows,” a thumping, whimsical number that is bound to be a serious contender on the Hot 100 scene. However, it’s certainly not the first time the two groups have collaborated together. Not only are Fences frontman Christopher Mansfield and Macklemore good buddies, Chris actually co-wrote song “10,000 Hours” for the Grammy-winning duo’s breakout LP The Heist.

“Fences is a good friend,” Macklemore told Billboard. “He’s fucked up in the same way that I’m fucked up. Because of that, our lives relate beyond the music. I’ve always admired his talent for illustrating with words and evoking imagery. We’ve made a bunch of stuff together over the years, and this here song about ‘Arrows’ is my favorite one we’ve done.”
