Beyhive, you’ve now got a reason to tune into the 2014 MTV Video Music Awards: Beyoncé will officially be performing at this year’s event in Los Angeles.

Leading the pack with 8 nominations for Moonmen (including Video Of The Year for “Drunk In Love”), the “Flawless” pop goddess will also be honored with the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award, an award previously bestowed on Madonna, Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake. (So basically, legends only.)

Bey now joins a series of previously announced acts like show opener Usher, Ariana Grande and 5 Seconds Of Summer, meaning this show is shaping up to be a truly major affair this year.

Are you excited to see Bey hit the stage at the VMAs? What do you think she’ll perform? Let us know in the comments below, and let’s remember her baby bump-revealing 2011 performance after the jump.
