Colbie Caillat will follow up the June release of EP Gypsy Heart (Side A) with her full Gypsy Heart album. (Guess Side B got rolled into the LP, then?) The set will be Caillat’s fourth studio album (if we don’t count Christmas In The Sun), and it contains collaborations with such songwriters and producers as Babyface (who co-wrote Colbie’s current hit “Try”), David Hodges (onetime Evanescence member who co-produced Kelly Clarkson’s “Because Of You”) and Jason Reeves (Caillat’s breakthrough hit “Bubbly).

Three new songs included on Gypsy Heart, according to a Universal Republic press release, are “Floodgates,” “Never Getting Over You” and “Land Called Far Away.” Separately, Colbie also recently offered up new song “The Way I Was,” which will appear on the Walking Dead: Songs Of Survival, Vol. 2 soundtrack.

While speaking to Idolator earlier this year, Caillat discussed recording material with Babyface: “We did four or five songs. I love him as a producer and writer. I just tell him any style that I’m in the mood for and we write it. It’s not like he’s pigeonholed in being an R&B producer.”
